Hospital Administrator/Owner
I have worked at Kingman Animal Hospital since June 2000. I began working as a technician and at the age of 31; I passed my National and State Board Exams and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2004. As the lead technician at KAH I learned a great deal about veterinary medicine, client education and hospital management. This is what inspired me to continue up the ladder, go back to college and begin managing the practice I love.
In 2007 I partnered up with my best friend and veterinarian, Erika and bought Kingman Animal Hospital. Together as a team, me in the business and management end and Erika in the medicine side we run a successful AAHA Accredited hospital with 17 or more employees. We have done so much to improve the business we love and enjoy being part of the community by volunteering with the humane society and starting our own non- profit organization The Kingman Pet Foundation.
As a city girl from California, I had no idea what a dirt road was when I moved to Kingman, AZ in 1988. I am now married to a rancher, raising my youngest son and niece, and working as part of the ranching community. With a working cattle ranch on the Walapai Ranch North of Kingman; myself along with my family we raise great quality beef for the world to enjoy.
